Production
From Wood to Top Product
In our Ampflwang production plant, wood is processed in a permanent 3-shift operation.
Tabletops are pressed on 6 presses and another is devoted to window sill production.
In the picking hall for window sills, they are cut to customer requirements.

Wood delivery
The production sequence commences with delivery of round timber.

Chipping
The logs stored on the woodpile are chopped up using a wood-chipping machine and the product stored in silos.

Drying
The woodchips in temporary storage are still wet and must be fed through the dryers, where excess moisture is extracted.

Gluing
Once the chips are dry, they are mixed with wood adhesive and taken to the presses by conveyor belt.

Pressing
In the pressing process, first of all a cake is prepared, which is then pressed together with resinated paper in the hot press to form the finished product.

Laboratory
The physical properties of our products are subject to permanent inspections, such as measurement of swelling, acid test (surface hardness), screw extraction test, abrasion/scratch resistance test, weight inspection/dimensional consistency, saucepan test/test of resistance to burning cigarettes.

Final production
In a final production step, the edges are shaped. Careful final inspection guarantees that only first-class products leave the production line.

Storage & delivery
The finished products are stored prior to shipment in our picking hall. Once they have been safely packed for transport, the products are dispatched all around the world to over 50 countries.
